The city was found in the year 1591 on the banks of Musi. Known for its diverse culture and secularism. People from different regions often find Hyderabad their second home. Till 1998, the city was known as the “city of pearls”. But after, the revolution of Information Technology in late 90s, the city has emerged as second largest IT contributor from India, Bangalore being the first.
